Our Story

Christian Koether

Welcome to our family.

Since its founding by my father, Ben Koether, in 1969, KitchenBrains has grown from a single, innovative product that ensured the perfect french fry into an industry leader and partner for many of the world’s finest foodservice operators and OEMs.

Today, our full line of Kitchen Brains controllers, monitors and sensors for both hot and cold applications are designed, engineered and manufactured at our USA headquarters facility in Stratford, Connecticut where we have invested more than $2 million since 2020 in the latest, state-of-the-art equipment.

Our Advanced Technology Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is home to our IoT and Cloud product development, implementation and management teams and, as a global brand, we maintain sales and support offices in Europe and Asia to serve the international community.

We’ve designed our website to make it easy for you to learn about Kitchen Brains and to find the information you need most. Our team is also standing by to answer any questions and to provide you with recommendations for relevant off-the-shelf or custom Kitchen Brains products, based on your specific requirements.

Finally, as a second-generation family business, we take a great deal of pride in our longstanding, personal relationships with our customers, suppliers and, of course, our employees. It’s why my door is always open and my phone is close at hand. Need to reach me? Feel free to call my cell phone at 203-913-8105.

Thank you for your interest in Kitchen Brains,

Christian Koether
